路透社等媒體引述白宮官員的消息，美方已經敲定川普總統將於3月31日至4月2日對中國進行國是訪問。但是中共外交部週二（2月24日）被問到此事時，仍然完全不願證實這項訪問。

美國最高法院上週判決川普對等關稅不合法之後，中共想施壓美國降低關稅，逼川普公開表態「不支持台灣獨立」。關稅成為中美博弈的重點，如果美中對關稅達不成協議，川普很有可能放棄訪中。
