加州第14國會選區候選人黃文姿（Wendy Huang）6月16日發表聲明表示，在特別初選投票進行之際，她不會承認此次特別初選與6月2日常規初選的敗選結果，並要求阿拉米達縣共和黨主席Jeanne Solnordal及加州共和黨主席Corrin Rankin，就黨內支持Dena Maldonado的過程作出公開透明的說明。
黃文姿表示，在相關問題得到充分解答之前，她不會作出認輸決定。她認為，共和黨對Dena Maldonado的背書存在嚴重不尋常之處，其競選運作模式與全國多地曾出現、被用來影響選舉結果的「幽靈候選人」（ghost candidate）手法相似。
她同時向支持她競選的共和黨、民主黨、自由意志黨及無黨派選民表達感謝。
「我們的運動超越傳統黨派界限，因為高昂的生活成本正影響阿拉米達縣每一個家庭。選民選擇相信一位扎根社區的地方領袖，而不是與基層脫節的政黨機器，我對此深感榮幸。」她說。
黃文姿表示，即使她願意認輸，但在眾多關鍵問題尚未獲得回答之前，無論從法律還是道德角度，她都無法這樣做。
「當我作為移民來到美國，並宣誓捍衛美國憲法時，我是認真的。作為妻子、母親、選民，以及阿拉米達縣中央委員會委員，我有責任為家人、鄰里及賦予我民主授權的選民而戰。我拒絕讓社區的選擇被幕後操作所取代。」她表示。
黃文姿指出，6月2日的常規初選結果已顯示建制派策略失敗。在沒有政黨支持、完全依靠基層募款的情況下，她取得第三名成績，而獲得黨內支持的候選人則排名第五，隨後退出常規初選。
她認為，這種情況反映出全國範圍內部分候選人以誤導選民、分裂聯盟為目的參選的趨勢。她並援引2020年佛羅里達州州參議員選舉舞弊案，以及2026年阿拉斯加州參議員選舉中一名候選人因未能進行「善意競選」而被取消資格的案例，作為類似現象的例證。
黃文姿表示，已向共和黨領導層提交一系列問題，完整內容已公布於其競選網站voteforwendy.com。她呼籲社會公眾、各黨派選民及媒體查閱相關內容，自行判斷此次選舉是否公平。
「政黨機構存在的目的，是實現選民的選擇，而不是凌駕於選民意志之上。現在是公開相關紀錄、回答問題，並讓事實自己說話的時候了。」她說。

June 16, 2026 — Today, as voters cast ballots in the special primary election, I am formally announcing that I will not concede either this race or the June 2nd regular primary. My campaign has submitted an urgent demand for answers to Alameda County Republican Party Chairwoman Jeanne Solnordal and California Republican Party Chairwoman Corrin Rankin.
I am withholding any concession until we receive a transparent public accounting regarding the party’s deeply irregular endorsement of Dena Maldonado—a candidate whose operation mirrors the dangerous “ghost candidate” tactics used to subvert elections nationally.
First, I want to express my profound gratitude to the cross-partisan coalition powering our movement. To the Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Independent voters of CA-14 who chose to support my campaign: thank you. Our movement transcends traditional party lines because the crushing cost of living impacts every single family in Alameda County. You chose to place your trust in a dedicated local leader over an insulated party apparatus, and I am honored to stand as your champion.
Even if I wanted to concede—which I absolutely do not—I legally and morally could not do so with so many important questions left completely unanswered. “When I came to America as an immigrant and took the sacred oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, I meant it. Keeping my word is a matter of absolute duty. I will always keep my promise as a wife, a mother, a voter, and a duly elected Alameda County Central Committeewoman. I owe this fight to my family, our neighbors, and the voters who conferred a democratic mandate upon me. I refuse to let our community’s choices be overridden by backroom deception.”
Our June 2nd primary results already exposed the failure of the establishment’s insider strategy.
Running strictly on a grassroots budget without party support, I finished in a strong third place, while the party’s hand-picked candidate cratered into a distant fifth place before completely abandoning the regular primary field.
Her actions mimic a dangerous national trend of bad-faith actors entering races purely to confuse voters and fracture coalitions—from the 2020 Florida state senate election fraud convictions to the 2026 Alaska Senate race, where election officials rightfully disqualified a sham candidate for failing to run a “good-faith candidacy.

Party institutions exist to advance the choices of the voters—not to override them. It is time for Chairwoman Solnordal and Chairwoman Rankin to answer the questions, release the records, and let the facts speak for themselves.
